King’s Road, Chelsea
City Branding
King’s Road is a historical street in Chelsea, London featuring a vintage style with many things to do, needing a way to showcase all of the features of the street. This project focused on creating a brand presence for this specific street in Chelsea that has a lot of different restaurants, boutiques, and other features. To create a brand presence, we utilized digital methods, specifically through a website and social media to gain awareness and an existing brand story for this city brand. As King’s Road holds a rich history behind it, we found it important to communicate the complexity of the road due to all of the different generations that make up the features, while also conveying that this road provides an effortless entertainment and joy because of the complexities that draw people in. Videography
C2 is a tutoring and test preparation business. They offer personalized study and assignment plans for students to follow in order to reach their academic goals. Their brand reaches beyond just providing academic results, but they have a focus on investing in the students rather than investing in potential scores. As a way to gain and display credibility, we created a video for C2 to show their success story. From showing shots of the students and the teachers, we aimed to show a very personalized approach to show that with genuine interaction, there have been real results from the services they offer. With inclusion of personal testimonies, we knew that word-of-mouth is always the most effective way of gaining other customer’s trust, so we utilized this to gain more credibility for C2. Digital Presence
Internationally known and based in Italy, Poliform is a furniture brand that features an elegant, contemporary style. To ensure that they deliver the highest quality product, they work with talented and well known designers and architects. The brand offers a high level of personal service, providing unique approaches to helping clients furnish a space beautifully. Attempting to create a strong digital presence for this company, we developed a social media campaign that was focused on utilizing Instagram. As this is a luxurious company with a contemporary vibe, we aimed to showcase their furniture and content around this kind of style. As shown in the pictures, the color scheme is very toned down with very minimal standout colors. As a way to include some variety and utilize techniques for different instagram feed layouts, we used a strategy of mixing posts between text posts and just image posts. Beaufort House is a restaurant, event venue, and private member’s club located in London. The restaurant part includes a cocktail bar while the event venue space has a member’s lounge and offers additional space for members to host private events. The club labels itself as “exclusive but relaxed” as it aims to provide a setting for both work and play. For this brand, we took photos that captured the essence and beauty of the venue while also portraying the elegance and exclusivity of the brand. The angles and subject matter were intentionally included to display the brand in a way that is desirable for potential club members. Flow is an education firm. This company focuses on providing a way for connecting high school students to tutors who are passionate about preparing students for college. Along with tutoring services, they provide several other resources for preparedness. From the logo to website design, we provided all services from bottom to top for Flow. Giving a story to the brand, we highlighted the heart and motivation behind why the brand started. This provided transparency and passion right from the start, which are both important qualities when it comes to excelling in education. We employed simple photography and statements for people to see that Flow exists to make it easier for students and that they are there to support them, not hinder them. Brilliant is a luxury jewelry company that focuses on providing diamond products. The vision behind the brand is to provide jewelry that was produced ethically and allows for people to customize their products so that they can have their own unique and creative touch to the product. Located in London, the company has a place in Chelsea’s shopping district. The brand attempts to combine classic styles while also providing products that reflect recent trends. For Brilliant, we took photos that captured the beauty of some of their new products. Strategically capturing the photos, we wanted to have a backdrop that was clean and not very busy as it could take away from the jewelry. This was so that the jewelry itself being displayed on the person’s body was the main focus point. We wanted a close up view, but also a practical view as people would see the jewelry in person. Internationally renowned, Peruvian Connection is a clothing brand that specializes in handcrafted alpaca sweaters. Their original and continued goal is to always provide sweaters that are created with native Andean textiles that feature a unique and original designs. The company aims to celebrate international textile traditions through their clothing by utilizing learned techniques from around the world. For an event in-stores for their customers, we took photos to highlight positive moments from the event. As it was a champagne and shopping event, we aimed to showcase the experiences of the people who attended. As this was a way to connect with the customers and provide a light, classy shopping experience, the pictures were taken to display customer satisfaction. Promethium is a privately held education company that specializes in teaching legal education courses to Maryland business owners. They were founded in 2013 and are headquartered in Odenton, Maryland. Courses offered include information on Maryland laws having to do with: business entity formation, products liability, warranty law, advertising law, workers' compensation, Affordable Care Act, trademark and copyright law, and more. We were able to learn about their brand and work with them in order to put together a logo that could truly represent their company in the way that they wanted to be seen to their prospective clients.
